Florida agricultural producers and farmers in the process of transitioning to organic certification can now sign-up for assistance through the Organic Transition Initiative offered by the United States Department of Agriculture, Natural Resources Conservation Service.
This initiative supports habitat for migratory waterfowl, shorebirds, and other species in the Prairie Pothole Region. NRCS accepts applications year-round, but applications for the current funding cycle must be submitted by June 1, 2023.
