National Soil Information System (NASIS)
The focus of the National Cooperative Soil Survey (NCSS) is shifting from producing static printed soil survey reports to providing a dynamic resource of soils information for a wide range of needs. The National Soil Information System data system consists of multiple interrelated soil applications and databases. This data system aids in the collection, storage, manipulation and dissemination of soil information.
